TAKE OUT THE TRASH!!
On a recent trip to the trash dumpster I contemplated the phenomenon of
trash. "What's phenomenal about trash," you ask. Here's my thought: I think trash is evidence of "stuff". Sometimes, we may think we are somewhat
impoverished because we don't have as much "stuff" as others in our circle of
friends. Or, perhaps, our "stuff" is not as nice as their "stuff". The amount of trash we generate has a direct connection to the amount of
"stuff" we possess. No "stuff" – no trash! I know this is not an Einstein moment but I just wanted to remind you that
your trash represents prosperity. Various levels, yes, but prosperity for
sure! Food scraps, empty boxes, broken toys, defective pots or pans, paper
products, empty food containers, bottles, cans, empty paint buckets, soiled
clothes, computer debris, printer trash, yard debris, etc = TRASH! And it all
represents possessions. Try this little thank you prayer the next time you have to take out your
trash. "Thank you, Lord, that I am blessed with stuff and have the evidence in
